Bad News Eagles manager denies team transfer rumors to GODSENT
Well-known commentator James Banks, who is also the manager of the Bad News Eagles team, denied rumors about the transfer of the roster to the Swedish eSports organization GODSENT. Responding to a report published by the Fraglider portal , the Briton dispelled the information that appeared and stopped all talk about the team's transition.
I don't know where these rumors come from, but the Bad News Eagles are not affiliated with GODSENT. They had a good offer for us, but it was based on representing them at the last major with the possibility of an extension, which we did not agree to. After that, there were no further negotiations.
According to James Banks, the GODSENT organization did try to sign Bad News Eagles before the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022. However, since then there have been no negotiations between the parties.
Recall that the Bad News Eagles team made a strong impression last season, playing at PGL Major Antwerp 2022 (15-16th place) and Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 (12-14th place). In addition, the Kosovar team won the TWR Eastern European Masters: Spring 2022 and Tipsport Cup Prague 2022, and also made it to the top three at the end of REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 and Elisa Invitational Spring 2022.
After a rebuttal from the Bad News Eagles team manager, everything falls into place. While GODSENT is still waiting for a return to the discipline, the organization will certainly make every effort to sign the Swedish lineup.
