Rumors: OG is looking for a new Rifle
According to an OverDrive insider, the European esports organization OG intends to make changes to its CS:GO roster. The club is currently considering signing a new rifler for the next competitive season.
It is not known who exactly the organization wants to replace, but many in the community are leaning towards the departure of the young F1KU. The 19-year-old Pole joined the team only in May, having managed to win Teleperformance PXP Invitational and BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 during this time, as well as get into the top three at Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022, BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, CCT Central Europe Series #2 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
However, possible changes may be associated with the departure of NEOFRAG or flameZ. The big clubs are interested in the latter, and, on the occasion of a large offer, the OG organization may go for a deal.
Moreover, the community is already naming k0nfig, who has been a free agent for the past few months, as a potential candidate. At the same time, the 25-year-old Dane spent the last year with Astralis, where he made it to the semi-finals of Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne.
At the time of publication of the material, representatives of the organization did not comment on the rumors.
The nearest championship for the European team is Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023, where it will start its journey from the Play-In stage. However, there is a chance to see OG in action a little earlier, since BLAST has not yet announced their schedule for the next competitive season.
