LUCAS1 ready to return to the stage in 2023
LUCAS1 has announced its intention to return to professional esports in 2023. The 27-year-old Brazilian sniper is already in talks with several organizations but also hopes to re-form the duo with his sibling HEN1.
I am in negotiations with several organizations, everything is in order. I was born to play. Of course, I will continue to stream, but you can hope that I will return. I want to bring trophies for Brazil, to represent the country well, as we have always done.
My brother and I played together all our lives, fortunately, the separation was good for both sides on professional and personal issues. But I definitely want to play with him again, we always play together and we have the same dreams that we want to win together. Most of all I want to play with him again. We will definitely return to playing together, whether this or next year.
LUCAS1 made a name for himself with Immortals, with which he became the champion of DreamHack Open Summer 2016, Northern Arena 2016 - Toronto and iBUYPOWER Masters 2016, and also reached the finals at DreamHack Open Austin 2017 and PGL Major Kraków 2017.
The next rise in the career of the Brazilian sniper came during the period of playing for MIBR, where he managed to take third place in the Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Chicago and CS:GO Asia Championships 2019.
However, in the last year and a half, LUCAS1 did not develop a career. At first, he did not succeed in 00NATION, while at the beginning of 2022, the Brazilian tried to form his own team called ELES. However, a few months later, the duo LUCAS1 - HEN1 fell apart, after which Lucas himself temporarily left the scene.
It is reported that the organization O PLANO, owned by kNgV-, a former Immortals sniper's pal, is showing genuine interest in the LUCAS1 candidacy.
