Shox left Apeks
The European esports club Apeks announced the departure of Richard 'shox' Papillon from the main CS:GO roster. The announcement appeared on the organization's Twitter account and other media. Whether the matter will be limited to shox going inactive or whether he left the club at all is not specified at the moment. Representatives of the organization also said that they are already looking for a new esportsman who will take a vacant place in Apeks:
After much deliberation, we have mutually agreed that Shox will look into his options. He will not be part of our starting lineup going forward. This is due to the difference in views on how to continue the development of our in-game team.
Throughout this process, Richard has been nothing short of a stellar professional and we are doing everything we can to help him find a home where he can thrive.
We are actively looking for a replacement.
Shox joined Apeks on August 11 this year. For 2 months the team was not able to achieve good results. The only thing Apeks Gaming managed to do was take 3rd-4th place at Fragadelophia 17, where the team earned a reward of $10,000 for their efforts. In all qualifying rounds, be it IEM Road to Rio 2022, CCT Central Europe Series #2 or FiReLEAGUE 2022 Europe, the team was defeated.
