xccurate ends his career as a professional esportsman in CS:GO
Indonesian player xccurate retired as a professional esports player at the age of 24. The former TYLOO and Team NKT player announced this on social media. According to xccurate, he intends to focus on his personal life as well as build his esports career in VALORANT.
Today I would like to announce my retirement from competitive CS:GO. I have gone through many ups and downs in CS:GO. I would like to thank all the teams and teammates who have been a part of my journey all these years. Thanks to Recca Esports, TYLOO and last but not least NKT for the experience, opportunities and accomplishments we have been able to achieve together as a team. Thank you for everything CS:GO!! And with this announcement, I would like to inform you all that from now on, I will be focused on VALORANT and real life!
xccurate appeared on the scene back in 2015 but rose to prominence a few years later when he joined TYLOO. Here, the 24-year-old Indonesian player became the winner of the StarLadder & ImbaTV Invitational Chongqing 2018, and also made the top 3 at Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Sydney, CS:GO Asia Championships 2018 and Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Shanghai, among others.
But along with the general decline of the Asian competitive scene, xccurate's career went downhill. Last year, the 24-year-old Indonesian player spent the last year in Team NKT, together with whom he won Funspark ULTI 2021: Asian Playoffs #1 and eXTREMESLAND Festival 2021, and also took third place in the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: Asia. And yet, back in March, the Indonesian left the starting lineup of the team, putting his career on pause.
However, in the end, the esportsman decided to leave CS:GO and leave Team NKT to try his hand at VALORANT.
