HooXi and jks have officially joined G2 Esports
The official website of the G2 esports organization has announced that Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Justin "jks" Savage are joining the CS:GO roster. Earlier, we wrote about a possible addition to the team, and two weeks later, representatives of the club confirmed our guesses.
G2 squad
- jks
- HooXi
- m0NESY
- NiKo
- hunter-
- XTQZZZ (coach)
HooXi played for Copenhagen Flames for more than a year, and together with other players helped the team to win victories at: BLAST Rising 2021, Malta Vibes Knockout Series, PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B.
In turn, jks has been playing for Complexity Gaming for the past two years, and together with the team he won such well-known tournaments as Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, Spring Sweet Spring #3, BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021.
The current season at G2 did not work out at all, compared to previous results this year, the team can boast only 2nd place at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice. The last major tournament Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne ended for the players in a disastrous 9-12th place.
It will be interesting to see if the newcomers will be able to strengthen the team, as the team is ahead of a series of serious tournaments: BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, ESL Pro League Season 16, as well as qualifications for IEM in Rio.
