9INE signs Polish CS:GO roster
The Swedish esports organization 9INE has announced the signing of a new CS:GO roster. The choice of the club fell on Polish players who previously represented the teams Wisła Kraków, Anonymo Esports and Illuminar Gaming.
The captain of the new 9INE roster will be SZPERO, who has spent the last three seasons with Wisła Kraków. Together with his former team, the 31-year-old Pole won Nine to Five #5 and ESL Mistrzostwa Polski: Autumn 2021. Goofy, another former Wisła Kraków player, will help him in the new club. The 21-year-old player has been representing the club's colors since February last year, and managed to get into the TOP-3 at the end of the V4 Future Sports Festival - Budapest 2021: International Cup and Pinnacle Winter Series #1.
Together with them, KEi and Kylar joined 9INE, who previously played together for Anonymo Esports, and then tried to gain a foothold on the scene under the MONKEsports tag. Together, the Polish duo managed to make it to the finals of ESEA Season 38: Premier Division - Europe.
The latest recruit of the team was mynio — a 26-year-old Polish player spent the last six months with Illuminar Gaming, with whom he managed to win Esport Tour 2022: Series #1 and ESL Mistrzostwa Polski Spring 2022.
nawrot will be the coach of the Polish team. The 24-year-old has just recently retired from his professional playing career after spending the last few months with the Illuminar Gaming team.
It should be noted that earlier the esports organization 9INE fielded mainly Swedish CS:GO rosters, the last of which disbanded in December last year. However, in 2020, the club also supported the Turkish lineup, which then featured the notorious xfl0ud.
9INE's debut will probably take place as part of the open qualifiers for the European RMR tournament, which will begin in mid-August.
From now on, the composition of 9INE in the CS:GO discipline is as follows:
- goofy
- KEi
- Kylar
- mynio
- SZPERO
- nawrot (head coach)
