Zyphon has officially left Copenhagen Flames
Danish esports organization Copenhagen Flames has announced the parting ways with its latest player Zyphon. Thus, the club has practically parted ways with its previous line-up, preparing to introduce a new five. Now only HooXi remains in the Copenhagen Flames, who, according to rumors, will become the new captain of G2 Esports.
Rasmus has been a key part of our core roster and he has developed a lot since joining the team in 2021. Despite not having much experience, he has worked hard to improve every aspect of his game, both on and off the server. His shooting has proven time and time again to be decisive during his time here and we are confident that his upward trajectory will continue on any other team.
We wish him all the best for the future and will be eternally grateful for what he helped us achieve last year.
Zyphon has been representing the colors of the Copenhagen Flames since May last year. During this time, the 18-year-old Dane helped the team win several championships, including BLAST Rising 2021, Malta Vibes Knockout Series #4 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B, as well as get into the TOP-3 following the results of Elisa Invitational Fall 2021 and Pinnacle Cup III.
However, after a sensational advance to the quarterfinals of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, the organization decided to sell out its roster. As a result, in a few months the club said goodbye to the entire squad:
- roeJ and nicoodoz → fnatic
- Jabby → Heroic
- HooXi → G2 Esports (rumor)
- Vorborg (coach) → Evil Geniuses
According to rumors, Zyphon will continue his career as part of Sprout. In turn, Copenhagen Flames intends to assemble a new Danish roster, which will include birdfromsky,b0RUP,TMB,raalz andregali. At the same time, Zyphon itself may become part of the raalz transfer deal, since the Dane recently played for the German organization.
The latest Copenhagen Flames roster is as follows:
- Jabby
- nicoodoz
- roeJ
- HooXi
- Zyphon
- vorborg (coach)
