Wisla Krakow announces his retirement from CS:GO and esports
The Polish esports organization Wisla Krakow, which is part of the local football club Wisla, announces its retirement from CS:GO discipline and esports in general. As a result of the latest changes, the club announced they were parting ways with Goofy and Sobol, as well as coach Loord.
For almost three years we wrote history together. Many successes and unforgettable moments. Great atmosphere and people. However, today we announce the official closure of the club's esports project. We would like to thank the players, sponsors and fans - everyone who made this adventure last over 1000 days.
The first Wisla Krakow CS:GO roster appeared at the end of 2019. During this time, the Polish team made several roster changes, putting together several iterations.
In almost three years, the team managed to win Nine to Five #5 and ESL Mistrzostwa Polski: Autumn 2021, as well as get into the top three at ESL Mistrzostwa Polski - Fall 2020, Puchar Narodowej Drużyny Esportu, V4 Future Sports Festival - Budapest 2021: International Cup and Pinnacle Winter Series #1, among others.
What seemed impossible two months ago is becoming a fact today. At the end of the month, we are finally finishing up our esports adventure in Wisla Krakow. It was an amazing time, marked by many successes. We played IEM twice in Katowice, many Polish tournaments from ESL, the success of the team in FIFA and much more. Many wonderful moments for which I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the development of the organization. Thank you guys because we did a great job together! I cannot but mention the fans - you have shown more than once that you are the best in the world. At such a moment, I would like to write much, much more, but there are just not enough words.
