Arki Becomes a SAW Coach
sAw spoke on their website that the SAW player, who was on the bench, returned to the starting roster, but in a new role. Now Omar 'arki' Chakkor Feltrer will now be the team's mentor and coach the players. The last change in the team came on June 25th when the management refused to cooperate with Renato 'stadodo' Goncalves and coach Rui 'vts' Soares. So the representatives of SAW came up with the idea to move arki, with which they have been working for a long time, to the trainer slot.
Arki started his career as a professional player almost 18 years ago in CS 1.6 under the Wizards Esports Club tag. Later he played in such teams as x6tence, Epsilon Esports, Atlantis, k1ck, Queso and others. On account of the Spaniard, there are many victories in tournaments of various levels. The most financially successful championship for him was REPUBLEAGUE Season 1, a championship with a prize fund of 60,000 euros. There, he and his SAW teammates placed second for $15,150. In recent years, ark has won tournaments like ESEA Season 34 Advanced Europe, Master League Portugal Season 7, LVP Unity League 2020 and others, but he has not managed to win in a really big event.

Comment by arky:
I think this is the best time and place to move into coaching. I have been interested in several aspects related to this position for some time and recently I no longer felt the daily and necessary motivation to reach a high competitive level. I have been competing for many years now and this is a great opportunity to help my teammates and the SAW esports club. I am motivated to meet this new challenge. I know it's going to be a tough start since it's been almost 18 years of competition on the server, but I know that with time and effort I will be able to help each of my players get better and feel more comfortable in and out of the game. I feel that this year will be very good for us.
The captain of the MUTiRiS team is sure that this move was done very competently and the team did not have to think long about the benefits of such a rearrangement. He commented on arki's departure as a coach as follows:
It's one of the simplest decisions we've made in a while. The reality is that we felt that we needed some changes in terms of the technical team. Arki is a person we can completely trust, who knows us like no one else and knows exactly our style of play. In addition, he has a very serene and peaceful nature. Among so many positives, we felt that this was the best decision, especially after he himself suggested that this change was something that he himself had been thinking about for a long time.
The debut of SAW with a new coach will take place on July 7 as part of the open qualifiers for the ESL Challenger Melbourne European. In addition, the team is scheduled to participate in the Circuit Retake Season 4, a tournament with a prize pool of 13,750 euros, which will be held from July 9 to 10. The winner of the tournament will be able to get an invite to the Circuito Retake Season 4 Final, which raises SAW's motivation to win this event.
