00NATION Officially Reveals New Lineup
The Norwegian eSports organization 00NATION has officially unveiled the updated CS:GO roster, signing the core of the GODSENT team, as well as a new coaching staff led by cky. The debut of the updated line-up of the Brazilian team will take place as part of the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022, which starts today, July 1.
Talk about the future of the coldzera project began as early as the end of May, when the first report was published linking TACO to the transition to the 00NATION camp. Over the following weeks, the parties moved forward with negotiations, including even more players in the deal. Initially, the Norwegian club considered signing four GODSENT players at once, until b4rtiN pulled out of the deal.
As a result, the parties agreed to mutually beneficial terms, eventually agreeing on the transfer of TACO, latto and dumau, as well as the GODSENT coaching staff to 00NATION.
TACO, latto and dumau have spent the last year and a half with GODSENT. Together, the Brazilians managed to gain a foothold on the scene by winning ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Summer 2021 #2, DreamHack Open September 2021: North America and ESEA Season 38: Advanced Division - North America. In addition, the team made it to the top three at Fragadelphia Invitational: Fall 2021, ESL Pro League Conference Season 15 and BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022, playing at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 along the way.
However, in the new season, GODSENT failed to develop its results, being left out of the Belgian Major. At the same time, 00NATION was also experiencing big problems, failing to become a real force in its region.
The nearest championship for the Brazilian team will be ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022, which will be held from July 1 to July 3 in Spain. As part of the group stage, 00NATION will play with the Outsiders, FURIA and Sprout.
From now on, the 00NATION CS:GO roster is as follows:
- coldzera
- try
- TACO
- latto
- dumau
- cky (coach)
- adr (analyst)
- dead (manager)
