righi steps down as 00NATION coach

righi has stepped down as 00NATION coach. The 24-year-old Brazilian specialist announced this on social networks. However, the Norwegian club has not yet released an official statement.

Thanks to 00NATION for the opportunity and coldzera for the trust, but we decided to part ways and I decided to look for a new challenge. I have learned a lot from everyone involved in this project and I hope you guys can continue the good work! I want to apologize to everyone who has always followed me, I have been a bit off social media in recent months and I will fix that!

righi headlined the massive 00NATION project at the start of the season. However, for half a year the Brazilian team failed to live up to the expectations of the fans, making it to the finals of the RTP Arena Cup 2022, as well as failing at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR.

As a result, the organization began to search for new opportunities, actively promoting negotiations to purchase the GODSENT core. 00NATION and GODSENT are currently in talks.

Initially, it was reported that the Norwegian club was interested in signing TACO, latto, b4rtiN and dumau, as well as the current GODSENT coaching staff. At the same time, the organization immediately abandoned the idea of buying HEN1, leaving the Brazilian sniper in the care of the Swedish organization.

However, as events unfold, the Norwegian organization 00NATION is now returning to the idea of keeping the Argentinian try sniper and cutting b4rtiN out of the deal, leaving him along with HEN1 in GODSENT.

The deal can be completed both before the start of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022, and before the start of Intel Extreme Masters Season XVII - Cologne.
