Renegades disbanded CS:GO roster
The North American esports organization Renegades has decided to disband the CS:GO roster. Probably, the reason for this decision was the weak results of the team in the new season, since the roster failed at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where it took the last place.
Today we part ways with our CS:GO roster. This team has overcome so many adversities and we wish the boys the best of luck for the future. We want to thank all the players for their hard work and dedication over the past few years.
The last Renegades roster was formed at the end of 2019, with minor changes over the following seasons. During this time, the Australian team has won many local championships, including ESL One: Road to Rio - Oceania, DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Oceania, ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online - Oceania, ESL Pro League Season 12: Oceania, DreamHack Open September 2021: Oceania and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: Oceania.
In addition, the Australian team took part in DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020 (2nd place), PGL Major Stockholm 2021 (20-22nd place), ESL Pro League Conference Season 15 (9-12th place) and PGL Major Antwerp 2022 (23- 24th place).
The next tournament for the team is ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, which starts on June 15th. It is not clear whether the team will be able to perform at the championship, because without the support of the organization it will be difficult for the Australians to get to Europe, as well as to hold the necessary bootcamp before the tournament.
The latest Renegades CS:GO roster is as follows:
- Sico.
- INS.
- Hatz.
- aliStair.
- Liazz.
- Kingfisher (coach).
