Malta leaves Renegades
North American esports organization Renegades announced changes in its CS: GO roster, bidding farewell to Malta. The 26-year-old Australian esportsman has played for the team for the past two years.
Malta joined Renegades at the end of 2019 when the North American organization signed the Grayhound Gaming roster. For two years, the Australian, together with the team, became the winner of ESL One: Road to Rio - Oceania, DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Oceania, ESL Pro League Season 12: Oceania, ESEA Season 37: Premier Division - Australia, DreamHack Open September 2021: Oceania and Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: Oceania.
In addition, Malta helped Renegades qualify for all major championships including Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship, ESL Pro League Season 13, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Cologne and PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
The last tournament for the 26-year-old cybersportsman was ESL Pro League Conference Season 15, following which the team took the 9th-12th place, having failed to get to ESL Pro League Season 15.
From now on, the composition of Renegades is as follows:
