No Limit Gaming closes CS:GO division
The Austrian esports organization No Limit Gaming has announced the closure of its CS:GO division. The club explained its decision by the weak development of the national scene, as well as the lack of great prospects.
After three and a half successful years, we are closing investments in the German CS:GO scene from June 30, 2020.
Unfortunately, the development that has been observed on the German scene in recent years has left us with no other choice. The teams have invested millions of euros in the German scene, but the organizers are saving too much and do not seem to believe in the future of their own product.
We still intend to stay on the scene and try to put together a team for next season. However, we stop paying wages to players.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past years and been part of our journey: our many players and former squad members, our sponsors and coaching staff, and many more.
It remains to be hoped that the professional national scene will eventually become viable again. Maybe then we will come back even stronger.
Recall that No Limit Gaming assembled its first CS:GO roster at the beginning of 2019. In three and a half seasons, the team won Legend Series WTA #1, Absolute Masters Summer 2021, 99Liga S17 Div. 1 and Ace X Vienna Open 2022, and also made it to the top three at ESL Meisterschaft: Spring 2021, ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2021 and ESL Meisterschaft Spring 2022.
The latest No Limit Gaming CS:GO roster is as follows:
- red.
- pdy.
- Perx.
- marky.
- OKOLICIOUZ.
