Jamppi hinted at a return to CS:GO
Jamppi has announced his intention to return to competitive CS:GO. During the last broadcast, the 20-year-old Finnish esportsman answered a question in which he stated that he would return to the discipline with absolute probability. However, Jamppi added that we shouldn't expect him to return from VALORANT before October 2022.
Jamppi played in CS:GO from 2017 to 2020. The 20-year-old Finnish esportsman made a name for himself with SJ Gaming, after which he moved to ENCE. However, after nine months spent as part of the Finnish giant, the player left the team.
At the same time, Jamppi was suing Valve, trying to get himself out of the VAC ban he received a few years ago. And if after a while the developers made concessions, by this time the Finn had moved to the VALORANT discipline.
Joining the Team Liquid team, the 20-year-old Finnish esportsman managed to win the VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 2 and Red Bull Home Ground #2, as well as visit the VCT 2021: Stage playoffs 2 Masters - Reykjavík, VALORANT Champions 2021 and VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík.
Probably Jamppi will think about his future at the end of the competitive season. Team Liquid is currently gearing up for the start of VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, which will take place online from May 13 to June 26.
