Vanity, leaf and Xeppaa may return to CS:GO
According to Dust2, Vanity, leaf and Xeppaa are temporarily stepping back from VALORANT to try their hand at CS:GO. Former Chaos players will take part in the upcoming ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Spring 2022 #2.
The ideological inspirer of the team was vanity, who has been playing for Cloud9 for the last eight months. He will be accompanied by leaf and Xeppaa, who together with the captain represent the colors of Cloud9. However, the Americans took only third place in the VCT 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers, failing to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík.
Recall that Vanity, leaf and Xeppaa are known for playing for Chaos Esports Club, having won with the team ESEA Season 34: Premier Division - North America, Mythic Invite League Season 1, Funspark ULTI 2020 - North America, Intel Extreme Masters XV - Beijing Online: North America and DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: North America.
Despite the absence of clear facts indicating the intention of the players to return, the next tournament may once again rekindle the hearts of American esports players. Recall that floppy returned in a similar way last year, which now stands for Complexity.
Note that together with the former core of Chaos, curry and mada, who also play in VALORANT for T1 and Luminosity Gaming, respectively, will take part in the championship.
ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Spring 2022 #2 will be held online from 9 to 10 April. A prize pool of $15,000 will be up for grabs at the championship.
The line-up for ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Spring 2022 #2 is as follows:
- vanity.
- leaf.
- Xeppaa.
- curry.
- mada.
