OG left IEM Katowice 2022

The OG team lost to MOUZ with a score of 0:2 and left IEM Katowice 2022. At the same time, the Danish team Heroic turned out to be stronger than Vitality with a score of 2:0, thus securing a place in the championship playoffs. Now Heroic will play in the Group A final, where they will meet the winner of the Virtus.pro - NIP pair.

OG-MOUZ

The next match of the game day started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of MOUZ. At the same time, the “hosts”, having given a great start in the attack, let go of the advantage closer to the change of sides, allowing OG to get closer to one round. However, after switching sides, MOUZ quickly returned the initiative to their own hands, thus confidently closing the opponent at their own pick — 16:12.

Next, the teams moved to the Ancient map, which was chosen by OG. Despite a confident start, the hosts again gave the advantage to the change of sides, managing to keep only a minimal difference in the score. However, this did not bother the MOUZ players much, who showed a very frisky game in attack, and at the same time knocked out the opponent at his own choice - 16:9.

Heroic-Vitality

The parallel meeting started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the Danish team. At the same time, Vitality, giving a confident start for defense, lost the advantage, managing to get only a round of difference. Such misfire was confidently used by Heroic players, who finally seized the initiative after switching sides to snatch victory at their peak — 16:12.

Then the teams moved to the Inferno map, where everything was in a bitter struggle. None of the teams could secure a comfortable lead, although at some point Vitality had a great opportunity to equalize the score in the series. However, the won round with pistols allowed the Danes to take the map to overtime, where cadiaN and company put pressure on the opponent and secured a place in the playoffs of IEM Katowice 2022 — 22:18.

IEM Katowice 2022 runs from 15 to 27 February. 24 teams from all over the world compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool.
