BLAST release documentary on Counter-Strike
Tournament operator BLAST released a Counter-Strike documentary titled "Ready Up". The 41-minute video tells the story of some of the iconic players who took part in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021.
The documentary featured karrigan, cadiaN and device. At the same time, the shooting took place during the participation of cybersportsmen at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021 at the end of November.
The main leitmotif of "Ready Up" was the return of the competition to the scene. The documentary begins by focusing on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the esports scene, noting the return of tournaments to the traditional LAN format along the way.
Throughout the film, hosts and analysts talk about the importance of LAN competition for the scene, while karrigan, cadiaN and device share personal reflections on their performances at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021.
Recall that BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021 was the last tournament of 2021 held in a LAN format at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
The "Ready Up" documentary was produced by the large BLAST team led by executive producers Nicholas Estrup, Tom Green and Alexander Levin, and produced by Alison Severs-Ruiz, Matthew Truelove and Tom Newman.
