RuFire has officially left VP.Prodigy
The Russian esports organization Virtus.pro announced the breakup with RuFire, who was the captain of the youth team of VP.Prodigy. It is reported that the 26-year-old Russian esportsman will remain in the structure of the club, taking a different position.
Mikhail Artemiev, manager for the development of Virtus.pro esports teams:
Lesha combines the qualities of an excellent scout, coach and captain. But to compete at the highest level, you need to devote a lot of time to individual form. He has already led the team to a decent result, but in order to grow further, the roster needs changes.
Moving away from the role of a roster player will allow RuFire to better reveal its strengths, so a mutual decision was made to continue our cooperation in a different format. We are sure that such a rearrangement will serve the further development of the squad and will bear fruit.
RuFire has been playing for VP.Prodigy since the beginning of last year. The 26-year-old Russian esportsman was one of those who personally selected candidates for the team. It should be noted that, together with the Russian team, the player was among the top three winners at ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Autumn 2021 #1, and also took part in three seasons of the WePlay Academy League.
Alexey "RuFire" Burakov:
We have made significant progress with the team. My path in Virtus.pro and in competitive CS:GO does not end - we continue to work on other projects. Now my passion for the game is stronger than ever, so I'm definitely not saying goodbye to VP fans!
The organization promised to introduce the fifth player in one of the upcoming announcements.
From now on, the composition of VP.Prodigy is as follows:
- r3salt.
- cheerful.
- lom1k.
- Xerison.
- delus1onn.
- Flash_1 (coach).
