SJ disbanded the CS: GO team
The Finnish esports organization SJ has decided to disband the squad in the CS: GO discipline. The further fate of the unit remains unknown.
The last SJ roster was formed in early 2021, when the organization signed contracts with jelo, AKE and BONA. The Finnish squad shuffled the roster several times over the past season, eventually forming the final top five in August following the arrival of HENU and Jimpphat. Since that time, the team became the winner of the Finnish Esports League Season 9, and also reached the semifinals of SM 2021.
However, back in November, the organization parted ways with Jimpphat, who moved to Conquer Gaming. SJ played the rest of the season with ottoNd and juho as stand-ins, which still didn't help her get a good result.
Note that currently BONA and AKE remain in the SJ structure, which were transferred to a reserve train in August. The fate of cybersportsmen remains unknown.
SJ's latest roster looks like this:
- arvid.
- jelo.
- SADDYX.
- HENU.
