Copenhagen Flames will retain roster for next season
Danish esports organization Copenhagen Flames will retain their CS: GO roster for next season. The esports director of the organization made a big announcement in which he spoke about the long negotiations and the decision to stick together for the next season.
After two months of talking and negotiating with several parties, we came to the conclusion that the best available option for all of us is to stick together. Now I know, despite all the rumors, that some of you will think that this is a decision that we are not happy with. But I can tell you that it is not.
We want our best players to stay longer and strengthen our position at the top.
We may not get a lot of money and league spots, but we will have a sense of security and room for development that no other large organization can provide.
We have achieved much more, much faster than we could have imagined with this roster, and therefore we are extremely excited to continue working with the team.
Recall that after a successful performance at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, rumors began to appear on the network about a possible transfer of Copenhagen Flames players. In addition, the leadership of the Danish organization spoke openly about the possible transfer of the roster, not wanting to hinder the development of their players.
However, Complexity, which had a long bid for the Copenhagen Flames lineup, reportedly retired from the race, opting to recruit a squad in North America.
The Copenhagen Flames line-up was formed in May 2021. During this time, the team became the winner of BLAST Rising 2021 and Malta Vibes Knockout Series # 4, and also stopped in the map from reaching the playoffs of PGL Major Stockholm 2021. At the same time, the squad has already lost its head coach, since at the end of November pita announced leaving for Dignitas.
The currentroster of Copenhagen Flames is as follows:
- Jabbi.
- nicoodoz.
- roeJ.
- HooXi.
- Zyphon.
