autimatic and Stewie2K in talks with Evil Geniuses
According to French insider neL, autimatic and Stewie2K are currently in talks with Evil Geniuses. In addition, the North American organization managed to bring Brehze back to the project, which was rumored to be moving to VALORANT and joining the 100 Thieves collective.
After a bad season, Evil Geniuses decided to send some of their former roster to the dustbin of history, saying goodbye to stanislaw, oBo and MICHU. At the same time, the organization intends to assemble a powerful roster that could compete at the highest level and achieve success.
The coach of this team should be maLeK, who left G2 Esports a month and a half ago after being in charge of the team for three years. At the same time, daps, despite their return to the discipline in the summer of 2021, will leave Evil Geniuses.
At the same time, CeRq and Brehze will become the core of the team. At the same time, the latter considered the option of leaving for VALORANT, and the player himself was tested as part of 100 Thieves. Nevertheless, Evil Geniuses managed to instill the player's confidence in the new project.
The organization is now ready to close agreements with autimatic and Stewie2K. As a reminder, autimatic joined VALORANT at the beginning of 2021. During the season with T1, the 25-year-old esportsman has not won a single championship. At the same time, autimatic is well known in the CS: GO discipline thanks to the victory at ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 with Cloud9.
Stewie2K is preparing to leave Team Liquid at the end of the season. The 23-year-old American esportsman spent three years with the team, becoming the winner of Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Sydney, DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, ESL Pro League Season 9 - Finals and ESL One: Cologne 2019, as well as winning $ 1,000,000 for Intel Grand Slam Season 2.
The current roster of Evil Geniuses is as follows:
- Stewie2K.
- autimatic.
- Brehze.
- CeRq.
- maLeK (trainer).
