peacemaker: "The situation with k0nfig was a big blow for us"
peacemaker did a great interview for the Dexerto portal, in which he talked about the problems of Complexity and the reasons for the team's failures. At the same time, the Brazilian specialist emphasized that some of the reasons for the failure were not at all in game problems.
Before my arrival, there were several problems that could not be controlled. For example, injuries, temporary absence of players in the squad, and so on. By the end of the year, nothing had changed.
The situation with k0nfig was a big blow for us. We had certain plans outlined, and Christian was a very important part of those plans. The team suffered greatly from the loss of such a star player. We also had some problems with poizon, which I will not voice out of respect for it.
At the same time, the peacemaker said that the team was experiencing big problems even before his arrival.
I joined a team that had constant problems. A coach cannot be a magician. This is a long-term job. In traditional sports such as football, the work of a coach is visible over several months, and sometimes years. Esports is far from this, because mentors are still treated differently in CS: GO. Few professionals enjoy full organizational and team support and are given time to work.
It has nothing to do with Complexity as a club or someone on a team. The roster was dead before I could do anything. It's a little frustrating because I really liked the players and wanted it to work out.
As a reminder, peacemaker left the coaching post at Complexity in early December. The 33-year-old Brazilian specialist has led the team for three and a half months, playing in four tournaments.
