Copenhagen Flames may sell the roster for $ 500-750 thousand
Danish esports organization Copenhagen Flames can sell the roster if the buyer pays for the players from $ 500 to 750 thousand. This is reported by the Dexerto portal, citing sources close to the situation. This was probably the last performance of the team under the Copenhagen Flames tag, given the long list of contenders for signing the roster.
Back on October 21, a few days before the start of PGL Major 2021, it became known that Copenhagen Flames put forward interesting proposals for the team against the background of growing interest in players. Daniel Vorborg, co-owner of Copenhagen Flames, commented on the story and the subsequent criticism of the organization. He dismissed the idea that the organization is acting out of greed, admitting that it has no budget to match the salaries that other teams have to offer.
Sources close to the situation told Dexerto that Copenhagen Flames is ready to listen to offers ranging from $ 500,000 to $ 750,000 for the team, which is currently ranked 10th in the world. At the same time, Copenhagen Flames also offers players individual offers, however, according to Dexerto, the players prefer to stick together, as they are confident that they will continue to perform at a high level.
Recall that the current composition of the Danish team was formed in May 2021. For six months of work, Copenhagen Flames won BLAST Rising 2021, took second place in BLAST Nordic Masters: Fall 2021 and Elisa Invitational Fall 2021, and also got into TOP-4 at the European Development Championship Season 4 and Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 3.
In addition, the team recently played at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, finishing in 9-11th place after being defeated by NIP in the fifth round of the Legends stage.
The current roster of Copenhagen Flames is as follows:
- jabbi.
- nicoodoz.
- HooXi.
- roeJ.
- Zyphon.
- pita (trainer).
