OverDrive: Virtus.pro signed FL1T
According to an OverDrive insider, the Russian organization Virtus.pro has signed a contract with FL1T. Alexey Biryukov announced this on his Twitter. In this case, the official announcement of the player should take place in the near future.
FL1T has been playing for the forZe team since October 2018. For three years as part of the Russian team, the 20-year-old player managed to win several big titles, including Copenhagen Games 2019, CIS Minor Championship - Berlin 2019, Spring Sweet Spring # 1, DreamHack Open Winter 2019 and Gjirafa50 Masters League Season 2.
In addition, as part of forZe, the player took second place in BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019 and took part in StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
Note that the first rumors about changes in Virtus.pro's roster appeared several months ago, as the team was determined to get rid of SANJI. Now that the team is guaranteed to make it to PGL Major Stockholm 2021, the organization has begun an active process of finding a new player.
This rumor is confirmed by the recent conflict between the organizations forZe and Team Spirit, during which forZe unknowingly negotiated with the opposing team about a possible transition.
If the rumors turn out to be true, Virtus.pro's roster will look like this:
- buster.
- qikert.
- YEKINDAR.
- Jame.
- FL1T.
- dastan (trainer).
