k0nfig leaves Complexity
k0nfig officially leaves the Complexity team, completing his 21 month tenure with the Dallas-based organization. The 24-year-old Dane's departure from Juggernaut follows recent rumors that pointed to his impending move to Astralis. In particular, it was reported that k0nfig will not re-sign the Complexity contract, which was nearing its end.
As a reminder, Astralis' interest in k0nfig is not new and dates back to the time when they acquired Magisk in 2018. In his book Brain Behind Astralis, team head coach zonic revealed that the team had previously considered k0nfig as a possible signing. However, the 24-year-old was late for the interview by playing, thereby spoiling the attitude of the organization towards himself.
k0nfig has been playing for Complexity since November 2019. During this time, the Dane managed to win several major championships, including BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Finals, BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021 and Spring Sweet Spring # 3.
However, due to a wrist injury sustained in August, the player was permanently out of action, forcing Complexity to find a replacement in coldzera. In turn, the Dallas-based organization will have time to consider their next move as they have a full roster for the rest of the season.
From now on, the composition of Complexity is as follows:
- blameF.
- poizon.
- jks.
- es3tag.
- coldzera.
- Peacemaker (trainer).
