Black Ops 6 & Warzone's March Update Details

With Season 2 Reloaded now in full swing, most of its planned content has been rolled out, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) crossover featuring new game modes, Operators, and an Event Pass packed with exclusive rewards. However, the latest patch brings critical fixes to previously unaddressed issues while introducing additional gameplay refinements.

Notably, this update sets the stage for Season 3, ensuring both Black Ops 6 and Warzone maintain a strong gameplay foundation—especially with the return of Verdansk in Warzone alongside fresh Multiplayer and Zombies content.

On March 11, 2025, Call of Duty announced via Twitter (X) that Treyarch Studios and Raven Software had released a new patch update for both titles. This second March update introduces key adjustments to ammunition mechanics, camo challenges, and other gameplay elements. Several previously planned fixes from the March 3 update that were not implemented as intended have now been reinstated. Meanwhile, Warzone has received further weapon balance changes, particularly affecting select Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 weapons, as well as the newly introduced Sawblade Launcher from Season 2 Reloaded.

TMNT Event Extended & Zombies Fixes

As part of the ongoing TMNT collaboration, the TMNT Event Pass has been extended until March 20 at 10 AM PT, giving players more time to unlock Turtle-themed rewards.

For Zombies mode, a minor update has been rolled out, fine-tuning the three round-based maps introduced in Black Ops 6. Among the fixes, developers have addressed issues with The Guardian boss fight in Citadelle des Morts and resolved bugs affecting LMGs equipped with the Belt Fed Magazine attachment.

Addressing Player Concerns

The update arrives at a crucial time, as Call of Duty’s player count has seen a decline due to ongoing gameplay issues. With these fixes, the development team hopes to resolve lingering problems and prepare for Season 3’s content drop. For many players, the return of Verdansk and potential nostalgic elements from previous titles may serve as a major incentive to re-engage with the game.
