DevilJ is a new replacement player in Team RRQ
A young eSports organization from Indonesia and the Philippines, which is quite well known for its teams in mobile cyber disciplines, has announced the entry of another player into its Wild Rift roster, the mobile version of LoL.
The organization shared the news about this on its Instagram and duplicated the post on Twitter. Already, in less than a day, the post on Instagram has collected almost 20 thousand likes.
This was not a surprise at all, because fans of the team may know DevilJ very well. At least because the player met him earlier in the East Asian tournaments and demonstrated his playing skills on the baron lane very well.
There is very little information about Keith “ DevilJ ” Janold Gonzales himself. But what we know for sure is that he previously played for another Filipino team, DR Esports. He joined there last May and has been playing with them ever since. Together with this team, they even managed to take third place at the PPGL 2021 Fall Split: Playoffs Major tournament organized by Riot Games in cooperation with Mineski.
By the way, Team RRQ also participated in the same tournament, but they were eliminated much earlier than DevilJ himself and the team. Perhaps his performance at the Major attracted the attention of the organization's scouts.
Now the Wild Rift RRQ roster looks like this:
- Sean Khierby “ Helios ” Miranda Palisoc – Baron Lane.
- Keith “ DevilJ ” Janold Gonzales – Baron Lane (replacement)
- Charles Roman " Chaazz " Esguerra - forest.
- Eric “ Exosen ” Gubatan – mid lane.
- Marc " Marky " Ilagan - dragon lane.
- Mark Jentry “ Maze ” Peñafuerte Galang – support.
