Liyab Esports moved its LoL roster to Wild Rift
Liyab Esports is a Filipino esports organization that emerged from under Mineski and is known for its team in League of Legends and mobile esports Arena of Valor. It became known that their current LoL roster broke up, and part of it moved to the mobile version of the game - Wild Rift.
We learned about this from the organization's twitter, where they posted a short video and explained in text format the positions and roles of the new WR team and who will be the coach.
Given the positive experience of Liyab Esports in mobile gaming on a professional one, this decision seems to be quite rational. Practice has shown that after the launch of Wild Rift by Riot Games, a good percentage of players migrated there.
The basis of the newly assembled mobile discipline team included a part of Liyab Esports players in League of Legends. Little information is available about the rest of the players. Most likely these are high-ranking players from the home region of the organization.
The coach will be Gerald “ Tgee ” Gianne Gelacio. Also a former League of Legends player and assistant coach of the former Liyab Esports roster. Now he has been promoted to the rank of head coach, but already in Wild Rift.
The Liyab Esports Wild Rift roster is as follows:
- Jay " Speltz " Tabarangao - Baron Lane.
- Edrian “ DoeDoii ” Brancia – forest.
- Ren “ Kanji ” Motomitsu – mid lane.
- Gabriel “ Sho ” Sebastian Umali – mid lane.
- Klyde - dragon lane.
- Jhon “ Xyliath ” Mike Tungol – support.
