Turko switched from Oxygen to Blaze
Oxygen Esports has announced the transfer of Turko to Blaze. The amount of the transfer and the details of the transaction were not disclosed by the parties.
Turko appeared on the scene back in May last year, playing for little-known local bands. Already in July, a 22-year-old Turkish player joined looking4org, with which he won Valorant Europe 1k and CLUTCH BATTLES - Grand Tournament. Immediately after that, Turko became the founder of the original Oxygen Esports roster, which quickly established itself not only on the domestic scene, but also at the European championships. In just a couple of months, the newly formed team took silver medals for epic31 Online, Intel Gaming Fest - 2020 and Valorant Challenge 2, and also reached the semi-finals of First Strike Turkey.
Already in the new season, Turko, together with Oxygen Esports, made a serious step forward, winning VCT 2021: Turkey Stage 1 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: Turkey Stage 1 Challengers 2. However, the team awaited the greatest success a little further, since in May Oxygen Esports sensationally reached semi-finals of VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals, where it lost to Team Liquid (0: 2).
As for Blaze, it is an Istanbul-based organization that is still in the process of forming its composition. Up to this point, the team has signed contracts with Brave and Izzy. Both players previously played for Kafalar eSports in the VCT 2021: Turkey Stage 2 Challengers 1, where they lost to Futbolist in the semi-finals (1: 2). Interestingly, there are rumors in the Turkish media about the organization's interest in pAura, who could become the team captain.
From now on, the composition of Blaze is as follows:
- Brave.
- Izzy.
- Turko.
