EXCEL Esports signed Davidp

British esports organization EXCEL officially joins VALORANT, announcing the signing of Davidp as team captain.

Davidp was part of the triumphant G2 Esports roster that took over the European scene last year. Together with G2, the Belgian won many championships, including the Vitality European Open, WePlay! Invitational, WePlay! Invitational, BLAST Twitch Invitational and Allied Esports Odyssey. The team also took 3-4 place at First Strike Europe, losing in the semifinals to Team Heretics (1: 2). This was the end of Davidp's G2 career as the team decided to move on by looking for a new captain.

Since then, the Belgian player has been absent from the scene, exploring options for continuing his career. Meanwhile, his former team failed to qualify for the 1st Masters stage after being defeated by DfuseTeam in the decider.

EXCEL is one of the top European organizations playing in the competitive Fortnite scene and in the European League of Legend, LEC, where they currently rank 8th with a record of 5 wins and 10 losses.
