Riot Games has shared the details of the upcoming 2.03 update on VALORANT. First of all, the changes will affect agents and the cost of weapons.

- Adjustments to Agent Reyna's stats to eliminate her obvious advantage over random opponents.
- Reyna will now have to economize on pistol rounds as the cost of the Malevolent Gaze, Consume and Banish skills has been reworked.
- Reduced maximum Siphon and Banish charges from 4 to 2.
- Slain enemies that Reyna has dealt damage to in the last 3 seconds now drop Soul Orbs, even if Reyna's hit was not fatal.
- Consumption and Banish charges cost increased from 100 to 200.
Yoru:
- It will be easier for Yoru and his team to navigate combat while Spatial Drift is active.
- The minimap now shows the distance from which enemies can hear sounds and see the Intruder's teleport thread.
- Yoru will now see a minimap while Drift in Dimension is active.
- Spatial Drift no longer blocks enemies.
- Yoru's allies can now also see enemies during Dimensional Drift.
Brimstone:
- Improved audibility of the burning area from the Incendiary Grenade in front of other sounds.
Phoenix:
- Improved the audibility of the burning area from Hot Hands in front of other sounds.
Special attention was paid to weapons, the processing of which has been discussed by the community for a long time.
Marshal:
- Aiming movement speed is now only 10% slower than normal speed.
- The zoom ratio of the sight has been increased from 2.5 to 3.5.
- Cost reduced from 1100 to 1000.
Stinger:
- Cost increased from 1000 to 1100.
- The maximum spread of bullets in automatic mode starts at 4 bullets, not 6.
- Reduced the rate of fire in auto-fire mode from 18 to 16.
- Changed the vertical recoil curve in automatic mode: after 3 bullets, the recoil is significantly increased.
- Increased firing error after the first round.
- Changed the vertical recoil curve when firing bursts: after the first burst, the recoil is significantly increased.
- Burst cooldown reduced from 0.45 sec. up to 0.4 sec.
The developers also increased the cost of Frenzy from 400 to 500. In addition, the "Escalation" mode appeared in VALORANT.
Rating system changes:
- Players will now receive Act Rank Emblems for highest ranking victories, rather than their ninth record.
- For prolonged inactivity in ranked games (for 6 or more rounds), players will now lose 8 points of ranked play.
