Soniqs says goodbye to VALORANT roster
North American esports organization Soniqs has announced it is parting ways with its VALORANT roster. After the failure of the VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Split 1 - Last Chance Qualifier, the club released the players from their contracts, thereby allowing them to look for opportunities for the future.
Following the conclusion of VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Split 1 - Last Chance Qualifier, we released the roster from their contracts in order to pursue opportunities elsewhere. We thank them for their hard work before and during the qualifiers and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
In fact, the previous composition of Soniqs was formed in April last year, but at the end of the season the club signed several newcomers. Together, the North American team managed to get into the top three at Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship - Open 9, Knights Gauntlet 2022: Championship, Proving Grounds 2022: Unleashed and Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: November.
However, the team took only third place in the VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Split 1 - Last Chance Qualifier, thus being left without a competitive VALORANT as such. As a result, Soniqs allowed its players to look for new opportunities, as they themselves revealed on social networks this morning.
In turn, the future of the organization on stage remains unknown. However, the club will certainly reconsider its attitude to discipline.
Soniqs latest VALORANT roster:
- runi
- shunk
- PureR
- mina
- nerve
- IyeN
- StyxOnly (manager)
