Markus Askildsen joins the Team Vitality coaching staff
French esports organization Team Vitality has announced the appointment of Marcus Askildsen to the position of Performance Coach. The Dane will support the club's VALORANT roster by offering effective methods that he previously used in his work in the Fnatic team.

I immediately developed a very good relationship with the players and all the staff. I'm looking forward to extending the club's excellent track record in what promises to be an explosive game this year!
Markus Askildsen is reported to have a master's degree in sports science and psychology. Since 2021, the Dane has worked for Fnatic, where he helped the VALORANT team achieve success on the international stage.
In Team Vitality, he will reportedly be responsible for optimizing the performance of the players and, in particular, for their mental health, ensuring their well-being and developing optimal physical conditions.
Team Vitality is one of 10 partner organizations to participate in VCT 2023 for Europe. Together with the French club, Fnatic, Karmine Corp, FUT Esports, BBL Esports, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, KOI, Team Heretics and Giants Gaming will represent the top league ecosystem.
The European team is currently preparing for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, which will take place from February to March in Brail.
