crashies joined NRG
North American esports organization NRG has announced another addition to its VALORANT roster by signing crashies. The 24-year-old American, along with two other club recruits, has spent the past two years with Team Envy/OpTic Gaming.
Here crashies became the champion of Cloud9 To The Skyes, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 2, VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík. In addition, together with the team, he managed to get into the top three at the end of First Strike North America, VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 1, VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin, VCT 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers, VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen and VALORANT Champions 2022.
However, OpTic Gaming was not included in the final list of partners, as a result of which the club was forced to say goodbye to its main asset.
Recall that the North American organization NRG has become a partner of Riot Games and will take part in the highest competitive ecosystem in America along with Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, LOUD, MIBR, Leviatán Esports and KRÜ Esports.
Given the rumors, Victor and ardiis (ex-FunPlus Phoenix player) will be joining NRG along with them. In addition, the sixth member of the roster should be hwifo, who spent the last season in T1.
The team's new roster is expected to debut at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Kickoff Tournament, which will take place from February to March in Brazil.
