makiba and Medusa can join Crazy Raccoon
According to VLR.gg, the Japanese esports organization Crazy Raccoon is preparing to introduce an updated VALORANT roster, which will include makiba and Medusa. These players will be part of a new team that will compete in the Ascension series.
Crazy Raccoon completed the Ascension roster in 2023 with the addition of makiba from ZETA DIVISION. After a year-long hiatus from competition, makiba will be joining the roster in place of rion, who recently took a step back. Neth, Astell, popogachi and Meiy will remain. Medusa will also become part of the team.
makiba made a name for himself in the ZETA DIVISION, where he won the VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, and also took part in the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. However, the 19-year-old Japanese missed last season, but is now ready to return to the stage with renewed vigor.
In turn, Medusa has already played for the Crazy Raccoon team from 2020 to 2021. However, the 21-year-old South Korean cybersportsman spent the past season with REJECT, with whom he only took fourth place in the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs.
Note that the organization Crazy Raccoon failed to get into the list of partners of the Asian League. However, the club expressed a desire to stay on the scene and perform at the TIER-2 level with the goal of breaking into the VCT in the coming years. At the same time, a little earlier, the team said goodbye to rion, who remained in the structure of the club as a content creator.
Possible composition of Crazy Raccoon in the VALORANT discipline:
- Neth
- Astell
- popogachi
- Meiy
- makiba
- medusa
- Northern Lights (coach)
