joYnt Leads Guild X
British esports organization Guild Esports has announced the appointment of joYnt as the head coach of the women's VALORANT team. It is noteworthy that the 27-year-old Italian specialist has already worked with the team in the MEDUSA Series, where he led Guild X to silver medals.
I have officially joined Guild X as their new head coach. We're currently at a bootcamp in London with the ladies ready to smash everyone in Game Changers and qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship in November. Huge thanks to Guild Esports for the great support and trust!
joYnt made a name for himself in the discipline through his work with the LDN UTD (hereafter OG LDN UTD) roster. During the year spent with the team, the 27-year-old Italian specialist won Meta Open Valorant and LVP - Rising Series #4, and also took part in VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers and VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers.
In turn, Guild X was left without a head coach at the end of July, when eMIL left his post to lead Team Liquid. At the same time, joYnt managed to work with the team within the MEDUSA Series, where he made significant progress and led the girls to second place.
Guild X is currently gearing up for the launch of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers EMEA Series 3, starting very soon. The team sets itself the task of qualifying for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers Championship directly. However, the team also ranks second in the region's league table, which gives them the right to play in the main championship of the season.
The updated composition of Guild X in the VALORANT discipline:
- klaudia
- Smurfette
- roxi
- aNNja
- ness
- joYnt (head coach)
