Former TSM Executive Joins Sentinels
According to insider George Geddes, Lina Xu, former CEO of TSM, is joining the Sentinels organization. At the same time, Lina's work with OfflineTV will continue and will not be directly related to Sentinels.
Lina is joining the Sentinels as Financial Manager and will play an active role in the organization's internal operations. According to sources, last week she was involved in discussions and negotiations for the acquisition of former Counter-Strike player and streamer tarik.
Xu is known for her rise within the North American organization TSM, which has taken her into the wider realm of esports. She has been with the organization since 2012 and was part of the esports operations and marketing department.
Lina stepped down from her position at TSM amid controversy surrounding CEO Andy Ding last November. She partly attributed the resignation to company management as Reginald was under scrutiny at the time due to allegations of harassment instigated in part by Lina's boyfriend and former TSM League of Legends player.
After her resignation from TSM, Lina joined OfflineTV, a streaming group made up of big stars like Pokimane and Disguised Toast.
The Sentinels organization is currently led by CEO Rob Moore, former Paramount Pictures vice chairman and co-chairman Eric Ma. Moore said last month that the organization wants to replicate TSM's success in Riot Games' FPS VALORANT.
