Complexity Gaming closes the male VALORANT roster

The North American esports organization Complexity Gaming has decided to close the men's roster for the VALORANT discipline. The club's management commented on its decision by rejecting the application for joining the affiliate program for the next year. However, the organization will remain disciplined and continue to support their female Complexity GX3 team.

As many of you have heard, VALORANT Partner Program candidates were recently notified whether they would move on to the next round or if their applications would be rejected. Unfortunately, Complexity Gaming's substantial and compelling proposal was not approved. We are saddened by this decision as our application was solid, detailing our history of success and innovation, and our vision for the future of Complexity Gaming within the new VALORANT ecosystem.

As a result, we have made the difficult decision to partially exit VALORANT for the time being. While we will be ending our efforts on the VALORANT Champions Tour through our men's team, we will continue our journey with Complexity GX3 in VALORANT Game Changers and other competitions. We are grateful for your continued support, and Complexity GX3 will continue to break down barriers and uplift the underserved female gaming community.

We are proud of the work that has been done in VALORANT over the past two years, and we are honored to receive the support of the fans. Our goal was not to create star teams with big names, but instead create opportunities for new talent to rise to the top. We are confident that members of our talented roster and many more will use the same structure to move forward with the new VALORANT Partner Program, even if Complexity Gaming is not part of it.

Fortunately, this farewell is not final. This organization continues to have great respect for VALORANT as a discipline, and we're excited to see the esports community continue to grow. We look forward to more opportunities in the future to showcase the incredible depth of the North American talent pool at the highest levels of competition. Until then, we'll see you in VALORANT Game Changers with Complexity GX3!

Complexity Gaming has been present in the VALORANT discipline since July 2020. During this time, the organization has introduced several lineups that led it to victories at the NSG: Summer Championship - Monthly May and Trovo Titans North America, and also brought it to the finals of the Community Gaming Premier Series Finale, BoomTV Proving Grounds #2 and Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: March, among others.

Obviously, Complexity Gaming is not the first and far from the last organization to leave their efforts in the coming weeks. A little earlier, Akrew and NYFU clubs had already left the discipline, as well as DarkZero Esports announced its decision the day before. At the same time, it is known that the most popular organizations in the region, including Sentinels, Cloud9, FaZe Clan, with one foot entered the number of VALORANT ecosystem partners for the next competitive season.
