iluri leaves FOKUS starting lineup
The German esports organization FOKUS has announced changes to the starting lineup for VALORANT, replacing iluri on the bench. Recall that the 25-year-old Finnish player has represented the colors of the club since January of this year.
The 2022 season has been intense and unforgettable for us. We were able to learn a lot and are grateful to everyone who accompanied us on this amazing journey. A journey that is just beginning.
We have the absolute will to establish ourselves at the top and go to the next level. In the last weeks after the end of the VCT 2022 season, it became more and more obvious to our team that changes were needed. As a first change, iluri will be benched and we will be testing new players before the next championships.
iluri became part of FOKUS at the beginning of 2022, when the organization signed the naughty evil owls roster. In six months, the 25-year-old Finnish player helped the team win VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 DACH: Evolution Stage 1 and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Challengers Promotion, and at the same time qualify for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers.
Thanks to the FOKUS family, it was a great time! Still under contract with the club, but looking for new opportunities,” wrote the Finnish player.
However, the team failed to show a decent result in their first major championship, finishing in last place and earning €8,000.
From now on, the FOKUS roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- bucher
- vong
- YaBoiLewis
- JUGi
- JohnnyLobster (coach)
- iluri (bench)
