Jupi officially leaves Rix.GG Lightning and becomes a free agent
Jupi officially left Rix.GG Lightning and became a free agent. The 25-year-old Austrian announced this on her social networks, adding that she was ready to return to the competitive scene.
After a short break, I'm ready to explore my possibilities and return to the professional game. My contract with Rix.GG has expired and I am looking for a potential Sentinel/Initiator team. High motivation, a lot of team/tournament experience and knowledge of the game. I can also become a captain if necessary.
Jupi hit the scene back in 2020. Last spring, the Austrian joined the Rix.GG Lightning team, with whom she managed to win Girls' House - EU Open #3, as well as get into the top three at Birds of Prey - Episode 1 and VCT 2021: Game Changers EMEA Series 1.
However, back in February, the girl left the starting lineup of the team, putting her career on pause due to the birth of a child.
I've been reflecting on the past season, the opportunities it has brought me, and the choices I've decided to make. This year has brought a whole new meaning to my life as I am having a baby. I know this will be a huge shock to most, as I was able to keep it under wraps. I will take a short break at some point with the full intention of returning to the professional game as soon as I feel ready for it.
However, Jupi did not return to its already former team, since it was already completed for the next championships. In the near future, the 25-year-old Austrian plans to start looking for a new team.
From now on, the composition of Rix.GG Lightning is as follows:
- Raina
- Page
- sia
- Kim
- OYKU
