joYnt Steps Down as OG LDN UTD Coach
European esports organization OG has announced changes to the VALORANT OG LDN UTD roster, parting ways with joYnt. It should be noted that the 27-year-old Italian specialist has been leading the team since June last year.
As we prepare for the start of the bootcamp, we are making some final adjustments to reach our full potential. Today we say goodbye to joYnt. We are extremely grateful to him for understanding and working with the team. We fully support him and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Our OG LDN UTD team showed great potential at VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, and now it's time to prepare for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier.
In the meantime, Bambino will serve as interim head coach while we look for a suitable candidate.
joYnt took over the leadership of LDN UTD last summer after moving from the Entropiq camp. During this time, the Italian specialist helped the Meta Open Valorant team and LVP - Rising Series #4, as well as get into the TOP-8 at Red Bull Home Ground #2 and LVP - Rising Series - Finale. At the same time, in the middle of the current season, the team merged with the OG organization, retaining the entire roster and coaching staff.
I have officially parted ways with OG and LDN UTD due to different directions and visions/needs. I'm really proud of what I've achieved over the past 10 months and I want to give a big thank you to all the players and staff!
The last championship for joYnt at the helm of the team was VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, as a result of which he took 9-10th place and did not make it to the playoffs.
The next championship will be the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, which will run from August 7 to 14. The team will compete for one ticket to VALORANT Champions 2022.
From now on, the VALORANT roster of OG LDN UTD is as follows:
- Feqew.
- Boo.
- Destrian.
- MOLSI.
- hype.
- Bambino (interim head coach).
