Riot Games will start collecting recordings of voice messages in Valorant
Valorant developers quite often receive complaints from players about other users. The complaints say that the players are destructive. Riot Games decided to deal with this problem in a more effective way, but in a way that may not be approved by all users. Developers will collect recordings from voice chat. Initially, this option will be disabled, but if users complain about the players, then the recording of voice messages will turn on, which Riot Games can then refer to when making their final decision. Thus, developers want to have more evidence regarding destructive user behavior.
The launch of the new protection system is scheduled for July 13th. North America will be the first region to enable this feature. This is because for now, voice recording will be able to collect materials in English to train the language modules and prepare the technology for a beta launch at the end of 2022.
Riot Games says that at first there may be various errors and problems with the development of the program, but in the future they want to make the voice recognition and message recording module in such a way that the community in the game becomes much friendlier.
