Magnum moved from Fnatic to KOI
The leadership of the esports organization Fnatic announces the transfer of Martin 'Magnum' Penkov to the ranks of KOI. There he will play alongside Ladislav 'Sacake' Sachr, Oscar 'PHYRN' Palmquist, Gabriel 'shrew' Gessle, Razes 'Famsii' Kivikangas and Alberto 'naptuNo' Gonzalez. The roster also includes Gerard 'ThoR' Vicente Dominguez, who is listed as a substitute on the roster. If there are 7 players there, including a replacement, it is not yet clear how the management will distribute priority in the Valorant roster.

Martin 'Magnum' Penkov started his career as a professional Valorant player in June 2020 under the Avenue Esports tag. He later played under the Enterprise Esports, HOMELESS and Fnatic tags. It was in the latter that he managed to achieve the greatest success. The esportsman became the vice-champion of VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík with a prize pool of $600,000, where he and his team earned $100,000. He also, together with teammates from Fnatic, managed to break into the largest shooter esports tournament from Riot Games VALORANT Champions 2021, the prize pool of which is $1,000,000. There, Fnatic placed 5th-8th in the standings and received a reward of $40,000. The total amount of prize money earned by the 20-year-old esportsman has almost reached the $45,000 mark.
