Johnta takes charge of FENNEL
Japanese esports organization FENNEL has announced the appointment of Johnta as the head coach of their VALORANT roster. At the same time, the club signed contracts with three players, thereby preparing for the start of qualification for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers.
Johnta will be the head coach of the Japanese team. The 34-year-old has made a name for himself through his work at FunPlus Phoenix. The last team in the career of the Ukrainian coach was One Breath Gaming, with which he won the Razer Invitational Europe, and also took third place in the Meta Open Valorant and VALORANT Circuito de Elite - Final.
In addition, the Japanese club announced the signing of Kaminari, who played for the REJECT team last season. He will be accompanied by Tonbo, who already played for FENNEL last year, but left the team in December and became a free agent. The third newcomer of the team was JinboongE, who started the new season with HolyMolly.
Very soon, the Japanese team will begin their journey as part of the qualification for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers. At the same time, FENNEL will immediately have nine chances to jump into the car of the upcoming championship.
