Skyesports will host a series of VALORANT esports tournaments

Indian esports and gaming company Skyesports has announced a partnership with publisher Riot Games. As part of the deal, the company will host the Skyesports Champions Series 2022, which will be a qualifier for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022 circuit.

The total prize pool for the South Asian Championship will be $30,000, while the final round of the competition will take place in Chennai, India.

Registration for the Skyesports Champions Series 2022 is now open for India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh. Participating teams will compete in two open qualifiers held separately for India.

Two teams from the Indian qualifiers and two teams from the South Asian qualifiers will advance to the second round. Here, participants will compete with eight teams from the previous stage of the South Asian qualifiers.

Based on the results of the Skyesports Champions Series 2022, the top two teams qualify for the VCT 2022 APAC Challengers Stage 2.
