GRUBINHO close to joining Team Heretics

According to THESPIKE, the Spanish esports organization Team Heretics is looking for a new captain for the VALORANT team. As the main contender for signing is GRUBINHO, who just found himself without a team.

GRUBINHO has spent the last six months with AWARIA. Together with the team, the Polish esportsman became the winner of BeChampions Tour - BeContender #2 and PLE.GG: VALORANT Nations Circuit Season 2, and also took second place in BeChampions Tour - BeChallengers #1 and VRL 2022 East: Surge Stage 1. However, the day before, the team announced about disbanding, making GRUBINHO an obvious signing option.

Recall that Team Heretics failed at the start of the new season. First missing out on the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, and then failing at VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1, the team began to lose its roster. Only in the last month and a half the club has parted ways with Bromas, Jakexd, niesoW, tenzki and mertz, having failed to find the optimal combination.

Now the organization intends to review the team formation process, first of all, by inviting a new captain. That being said, Team Heretics is also testing other potential candidates, while the final roster will be revealed shortly.

The likely roster of Team Heretics is as follows:

  • lowel.
  • PoPiFresH.
  • keloqz.
  • GRUBINHO.
  • Noel (head coach)
  • Linepro (assistant coach).
