Fayde takes over Team Secret

European esports organization Team Secret introduced Fayde as the head coach of their VALORANT roster. Previously, the 24-year-old Malaysian specialist led Team SMG, and also managed to work as an analyst at BOOM Esports.

Fayde first appeared on the scene at the end of 2020 when he took over Team SMG. Together with the team, the 24-year-old Malaysian specialist became the winner of AE League: Conqueror and Cyber Games Arena Pacific Open +, and also reached the finals of VCT 2021: Malaysia & Singapore Stage 1 Challengers 3, VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 1 Masters and VCT 2021: Malaysia & Singapore Stage 2 Challengers 3.

At the beginning of 2022, Fayde joined BOOM Esports as an analyst. At the same time, his work helped the team take second place in the SEA Esports Championship 2021.

In turn, Team Secret has been in search of a new coach over the past weeks, having parted ways with Gibo at the beginning of the year. At the same time, the team has already managed to present an updated line-up by signing a contract with Jremy.

Fayde will be put to the test on February 10 when Team Secret debuts at the VCT 2022: Philippines Stage 1 Challengers.
