exy joins DAMWON Gaming
South Korean esports organization DAMWON Gaming has announced the signing of a contract with exy. From now on, the team has expanded to seven esportsmen.
exy appeared on the professional scene back in mid-2020. Already in October, the 23-year-old Korean esportsman joined Quantum Strikers, a month later the roster of which was bought by TNL Esports. Under the banner of a major organization, the player had an impressive season winning VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers and National ShotVAL Pride. In addition, exy made it to the First Strike Korea finals, and also made it to the TOP 4 at VCT 2021: Korea Stage 1 Challengers 3 and VCT 2021: Korea Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
Note that this is not the first change in the line-up of DAMWON Gaming in recent months. The organization had previously announced it was parting ways with Secret, signing Esperanza and Hyeoni along the way. In addition, the team introduced solo as the new head coach.
From now on, the DAMWON Gaming roster is as follows:
- Eugene.
- T3xture.
- Jeong Hi.
- INTRO.
- Esperanza.
- Hyeoni.
- exy.
- solo (head coach).
- Eraser and Calmly (coaching staff).
